Pillars of Well-Being – Environmental Sensitivities
“Today is the First Day of the Rest of Your Life”
Achieving and maintaining an evolving state of “well-being” in the modern “world” can be a difficult endeavor. Having embarked upon a journey to improve my own “state” of wellness and perhaps the well-being of others, I have come across many relevant resources for understanding how to bring this about. One such resource that I discovered today is the Environmental Sensitivities Symposium being conducted by Lucinda Curran.
Acquiring a state of well-being depends upon many factors. It is impossible, in fact, it is unavoidable, especially as we grow older, that we ask ourselves the question on a daily basis: “how do I feel today?”, “How do I feel right now?” We may not speak it out loud, but we certainly think about it.
When evaluating the state of personal “wellness”, there are basically four states, or what I refer to as “pillars”, to consider: Physical, Emotional, Mental, and Spiritual. When looking at our own state of personal “wellness”, the bottom line is that coming into a sustainable healthy state of existence and being, and then maintaining the “good” consciousness is a personal responsibility.
Part of that responsibility comes from the knowledge, the knowing that we acquire (what we do with that knowledge is up to us). Well then, today is a good day to begin.
Please, do something good for yourself today. Check out the Symposium!
